Are you interested in joining the Powys Journeying Together Group to share your experiences of living with or caring for someone with cancer?

The ‘Journeying Together’ patient and carer group is an opportunity for people to talk to others, share experiences and get peer support. The purpose of the group is to:

  • meet other people living with, or affected by, cancer
  • share cancer experiences
  • help identify improvements needed for cancer support and services
  • get people’s views to help guide programme developments
  • help promote cancer information and support available in Powys

When we refer to ‘people affected by cancer’ this could be someone who is:

  • newly diagnosed with cancer
  • undergoing cancer treatment
  • recovering from cancer treatment
  • living with a treatable but not curable cancer
  • coming to terms with life after cancer
  • living with a palliative cancer diagnosis
  • bereaved following the death of someone with cancer
  • a family member/friend/unpaid carer supporting someone who has cancer
