san h7 months agoMore Apprenticeships after teens leave newtown collage .
My son has just done 2 years at newtown collage and because we live in knighton there are no opportunities for him to compleate the 3rd year whitch requires an Apprenticeship in the future this will lead to young people leaving powys and a lack of future skilled workers in powys .

You need to do something to reconnect with the people. The leisure centre closures has been handled was so horrifically it will breed contempt for the council and opens you up to allegations of corruption at the highest level. My second point is you need to open yourself up to an investigation/transparency to show the people exactly what has gone on to get to each decision and perhaps give communities time to come up with other options. My last point is simple treat people how you would want to be treated if you treat communities in the way you have handled the leisure centre issue it should come as no surprise when be react angrily and hold you with contempt.

The librarians are always friendly and helpful. I can use the computer, get help with my phone, get advice, borrow books and find company all under one roof, for free. Libraries are brill.
