Are you interested in becoming a Powys Parent Community Representative and play a key part in representing the experiences and voices of parents in your local area? We are looking for residents with parental responsibility from across the county to get involved.
When we refer to ‘parents’ we mean this as an inclusive term encompassing anyone undertaking a parenting role: parents (both dads and mums), grandparents, foster parents, adoptive parents, special guardianships, kindship carers or anyone with parental responsibility.
No special qualifications are needed for this role, all we ask is that you can spare a few hours, four times a year to attend our Parenting Forum. Meetings will be held online every quarter, with an in-person meeting at the end of the year, and you will receive ongoing support, guidance and training during your time on the forum.
If you are interested in getting involved, click the blue 'COMPLETE FORM' button below.
The closing date for responses is Monday 31st March 2025.
Please note: There are a limited number of places available on our Parenting Forum and we will be looking to ensure we have parents representing all 13 of our localities.
