Powys County Council is consulting on a proposal to close Gladestry C. in W. School. The proposal is as follows:
To close Gladestry C. in W. School on the 31st of August 2027, with pupils to transfer to their closest alternative schools in Powys (their new catchment school)
A consultation document which provides more information about the proposals is available on the Council’s website at Gladestry Church in Wales School - Powys County Council. This consultation response form gives you the opportunity to let us know your view on the Council’s proposal. The response form can also be completed online – a link to the online form is available by following the link above.
The closing date for this consultation is 26th October 2026. All responses must be received by this date.
