Thank you for completing this survey that Atkins is conducting on behalf of Powys County Council. Your responses will directly inform our decisions when developing Powys County Council’s Electric Vehicle Charging Strategy. The aim of this strategy is to provide direction in the deployment of charging infrastructure across the county. This will enable the adoption of electric vehicles for residents and visitors, whilst ensuring the most efficient deployment of on-street infrastructure. This strategy is focussed on the deployment of electric vehicles. When we discuss electric vehicles, we mean pure battery electric or hybrid vehicles. Vehicles fuelled by alternative fuels such as Hydrogen, or Bio-Diesel will not be covered by this strategy document.
The following questions have been designed to investigate your plans as a business in relation to the deployment of electric vehicle charging infrastructure (also known as charge points). If relevant, it will also cover your plans for electrifying business fleets. This will help us to understand:
The current and likely future status of electrification within businesses
What may be blocking the adoption of electric vehicles
What can be done to overcome these barriers.
We appreciate that your time is valuable, and as such we have kept this survey brief. We anticipate that it should take you 10 minutes to complete. Thank you in advance for your responses and time.
If you would like further information on the survey or have any questions regarding the strategy please contact transformingtowns@powys.gov.uk
The closing date for the survey has been extended to the 16th September 2022.
