This form is for anyone living in Powys to suggest ideas that could improve life in your local area.
The form should take around 5–10 minutes to complete. Before submitting your idea, please make sure it:
responds to a genuine local need, issue or opportunity;
fits at least one of the themes listed in this form;
would make a positive difference to local people;
is inclusive and considers the needs of different people in the community; and
is realistic, lawful and considerate of the local environment and other community priorities.
If you have any local feedback, evidence or previous conversations that support your idea, you can tell us about them. You can also name any organisations or partners that might be able to help, but you do not need to have contacted them before submitting your idea. Submitting an idea does not guarantee that it will be approved, funded or delivered, but it will help inform future local planning and partnership discussions.
After you submit your idea, it will be reviewed by the Place-Based Planning Board and shared with the relevant town or community council and any other appropriate partners. If you have asked to be contacted, we may get in touch if we need more information. If the idea is approved, it will be added to the locality map so that people can see community aspirations, needs and opportunities across Powys.
While submitting an idea does not guarantee that it will receive funding or be delivered, every suggestion is valuable and helps shape future investment, projects and initiatives that can support thriving communities and a stronger economy across Powys.
