Consultation has concluded
The Council has faced unprecedented challenges over the last 20 months due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, which has dominated our activities and that of the county’s communities. We want to hear the opinions of residents, businesses, and other stakeholders, as part of the budget setting process so that we can support our communities, where needed, in the coming financial year.
As we continue to focus on post Covid-19 recovery, balancing the limited funding against growing demand for our services, using resources effectively to deliver the best outcomes for local people, and achieving the Councils key priorities, this is your opportunity to provide us with your views and insights on our funding priorities, Council Tax levels and recovery plan. Our aim is to align our communities’ visions and expectations with those of the Council and Councillors, making Powys afantastic place in which to live, learn, work and play.
Our budget survey happens every year and allows us to understand what our residents, businesses and communities feel is important and should be prioritised in the coming years.
